Founder of Flip Flop Construction
I grew up in St. Vital playing hockey and football, and by 14 I was out in the summers helping my dad build decks and fences. At 17 I went to Red River College and spent three years learning framing, concrete, and machine operating on real job sites.
At 21 I took the leap — me, a couple of buddies, a beat-up trailer, and side jobs on weekends. We were working in flip flops and sandals. That's literally how the name happened.
Nine years later, Flip Flop is building homes, cabins, driveways, decks, and commercial projects across Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Ontario with a full in-house crew. Same work ethic from day one. The only thing that's changed is the scope of what we build — and the opportunity for the right people to grow with us.
