Heavy Duty Equipment Operator
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Operator who knows how to run a machine and isn't afraid to step off it and work alongside the crew when the job calls for it. This is a hands-on position across a wide range of projects — one day you're doing site prep for a new build, the next you're moving material on a drainage job. If you take pride in your work, know your way around equipment, and don't need to be babied on a job site, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing
Operating heavy duty equipment including excavators, skid steers, and loaders on residential and commercial job sites
Supporting site prep, grading, excavation, and drainage projects
Assisting with concrete pours, driveways, landscaping builds, and material movement
Stepping in on general labour when equipment isn't running
Keeping job sites clean, safe, and organized
Following direction from the site lead and doing what needs to get done
What We're Looking For
Proven hands-on experience operating heavy duty equipment — you know what you're doing without being walked through it
Comfortable stepping off the machine and working alongside the crew
Valid driver's licence required — Class 3 or higher is a strong asset
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Willing to travel to job sites across Manitoba and Northern communities when required
Takes pride in the quality of what gets built
Able to work independently and as part of a small tight-knit crew
Perks & Benefits
Competitive pay based on experience
Benefits package for eligible employees
Company truck available upon demonstrated experience
Out-of-town premium pay for northern jobs
Accommodations fully covered on all out-of-town work
Steady full-time hours with a fast-growing company
