Framer

The Role

We're looking for an experienced framer to join the Flip Flop crew on residential and commercial builds. You know how to read plans, set a plate line, and frame a wall that's square. You work efficiently, you don't cut corners, and you understand that everything built after the frame depends on getting the frame right. That's the standard we hold, and we need someone who holds it too.

What You'll Be Doing

• Residential wood framing on new builds, additions, and renovations

• Floor systems, wall framing, roof structure, and stair framing

• Reading and working from construction plans and drawings

• Operating heavy-duty machinery and equipment as required on site

• Commercial steel framing when required

• Working as part of a small in-house crew on diverse projects

• Maintaining accuracy and quality throughout with no shortcuts

• Coordinating with other trades on site as needed

What We're Looking For

• Proven framing experience with residential new construction preferred

• Able to read and work from construction drawings

• Experienced operating heavy-duty machinery on active job sites

• Strong understanding of building standards and frost conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and focused on quality from start to finish

• Valid driver's licence required

• Comfortable working in all weather conditions

• Journeyperson or apprenticeship an asset but not a requirement
