Spring Yard Prep Checklist for Manitoba Homeowners
Spring in Manitoba is short and rough on your property. Before mid-May, walk your yard and check drainage, grading, foundation, roof, deck, fence, and lawn. Fix the small stuff early so it doesn't turn into a big repair once the ground fully thaws. Spring in Manitoba comes fast and hits hard. One week the ground is frozen. The next, the snow is gone, and you're finding out what winter left behind. Getting on top of your yard in March and April saves you money and headaches la

An addition is a new build that has to marry an existing one. The three places it gets difficult are the foundation, where northern frost depth drives the design, the connection to the existing structure, where the framing has to tie into what is already there, and the logistics, where northern mate

New Build, Full Yard Package: Sod, Fencing, and a Deck
We laid fresh sod in both the front and backyard to give the property a clean, finished look. A new wood fence was installed around the perimeter for privacy, with chain link fencing in the back to keep the space open but secure. We also built a new deck off the back of the house to add outdoor living space. The concrete driveway was handled by another contractor on-site, and everything came together smoothly.
